Seth Giddings is associate professor of digital culture and design at Winchester School of Art. His research deploys media theory and ethnography in the study of relationships between culture, nature, play, and technology. Particular interests are popular and experimental digital media, from video games to art projects. He is the author of Gameworlds: Virtual Media and Children’s Everyday Play (Bloomsbury, 2014) and is currently working on a book on toys as technology.
